Select your equipment below to view setup instructions and common troubleshooting solutions.
Place subwoofer on a flat, stable surface.
Insert the lower pole into the subwoofer.
Insert the upper pole into the lower pole.
Place the column speaker on top of the pole assembly.
Ensure speaker column is fully seated before powering on.
Position the speaker so it faces the audience area.
Important: Do not force any of the pole sections. They should slide together smoothly.
Connect the power cable to the rear of the subwoofer.
Plug the power cable into a surge protector.
Press the power switch on the rear panel.
Wait approximately 15 seconds for the system to fully boot.
Open Bluetooth settings on your phone, tablet, laptop or other device.
Press and hold the Bluetooth Channel 7/8 button on the mixer until pairing starts.
Select EV Evolve 30M from the list of available devices on your playback device.
Wait for your playback device to connect to the speaker.
Turn your device's volume to 70-80%.
Start music playback.
For Best Sound Quality
Do not exceed 80% volume on your playback device.
Adjust listening volume using the speaker's Main Volume knob on the rear panel.
No mixer adjustments are required for normal operation.
Avoid running your phone at maximum volume, which can cause distortion and damage the speaker.
No Sound?
Verify Bluetooth is connected.
Confirm media is playing on your device.
Increase the speaker's main volume.
Make sure your device volume is above 50%.
Important: If the EV Evolve 30M screen shows LOCKED, hold the Main Volume knob down for 5 seconds to unlock.
